What QA steps will my board go through?

  1. After you place an order, Upverter engineers review your design and finalize it for production. If our engineers find something on your design that may cause mechanical or functional issues, we will contact you and either propose a solution or ask how you want it handled.
  2. Next, your board is sent to manufacturing.
  3. Once the assembly of your board is complete, we have an automated system to test the following.
    1. We test that your board boots and that we can log into it.
    2. We will probe on-board peripherals and confirm that the drivers have been loaded.
    3. We do a functionality test for Ethernet, USB, camera, display, etc. depending on what’s on your board.

This automated test is run by our contract manufacturer and our quality assurance engineers will be watching as all your boards are being tested.
