Upverter Orders

To place an online order for any of our products, you may do so via the Gumstix Online Store:

  1. Click Order in Upverter. You will be directed to make a product page in the Gumstix Online Store and select the number of boards you wish to purchase.
  2. When ready to order, click the cart at the top right-hand corner of the screen.
  3. All customers require an account to place an order. If you have not already done so, you can create an account when checking out.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions during the checkout process.
  5. You will receive a confirmation email on the completion of your order. You will also receive a shipping confirmation when your order ships.

For orders being shipped to California: All orders shipped to California will be charged the appropriate tax rate for the order's destination. If you wish to claim tax-exempt status for a California order, please place a comment in the order saying that you are tax-exempt, and send your tax-exempt document to sales.modular@upverter.com.

Pricing

When creating a Upverter custom board, these are the costs involved:
  • The cost per board. This is how much each board is going to cost every time you order that board.
  • A manufacturing fee. This fee varies and depends on whether you have ordered a new design, a repeat of an existing design, the first in a production design, or a repeat in a production design.
Manufacturing Fee
  • For your first order, on a new design, the initial manufacturing fee is $1,999. This covers setup costs for fab design, stencils, and SMT programming.
  • On repeat orders, requiring no change to the PCB fab. The repeat manufacturing fee is $999 and is charged on orders under 50 units
  • On orders going to production, the production fee is $499 for Under 50 units 
  • The manufacturing fee is waived on production boards of 50+ units 

Payment

Upverter accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover as forms of payment. Your credit card will be authorized and charged at the time of order.

The Gumstix Online Store uses Authorize.Net as our payment processor; We do not retain nor have access to your credit card information.

Lead Times

Lead times do depend on market conditions and component availability. That said we can deliver a fully functional board within 6-12 weeks. 

Shipping

Upverter ships orders once all products in that order are available in stock.

Refunds and Cancellations

All Upverter orders are non-refundable and non-cancellable.
